How You Can Help!
There are many ways you can help Walk for Kate reach its ultimate goal of finding a cure for brain tumors. Like most organizations we are starting small, but with your help we can make a big difference. We accept donations of any size, any time, either through Paypal or regular US mail. (You don`t need a Paypal account to donate through Paypal with a credit card.)
You can sponsor our founder, George Rose, as he participates in various walking events around Michigan and, ultimately, the entire United States. You can support him in one of two ways:
A) Make a donation for every mile he walks per event. Example: You want to donate $1 a mile for an upcoming marathon. Since marathons are 26 miles, the total donation would be $26. (This is just an example; no amount is too large or to small. If you are only able to contribute $.10 a mile, that is wonderful too!) If you'd like to sponsor a particular marathon, please specify the name of the race in the "comments" section when you make your donation. .
B) Make a specific donation, in any amount you want. Again, no amount is too much or too little! .

If you would like to make an in-person donation at one of our events, please write to George at grose@walkforkate.org and we will happily make arrangements to meet you. We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your support!

You don`t have to wait for an upcoming event to donate; we will accept donations at any time! As we all know, any time is a great time to give. Walk for Kate will be actively participating in brain tumor awareness events throughout the year, and the need for contributions always exists.
Volunteer
In the future, Walk for Kate will begin to sponsor our own events, such as fun walks, 5K walk/runs, and maybe even hold our own marathon. We will need wonderful volunteers for these programs, and your time is just as important as money and is appreciated the same. If you love being outside (or even inside in the winter) and helping a great cause, we would love to hear from you!
Corporate Sponsorship
Are you a business or another organization that would like to help? We would love corporate sponsors to help us meet our goals. If you would like your company name associated with Walk for Kate (and your logo on our website and t-shirts), we are eagerly waiting to here from you!
With a little help from everyone, together we can walk all over brain tumors for good!
